Snowmobiling Along the Border River

Wide open spaces. Arctic freedom.

Less rush. More wilderness.

Not every snowmobile tour is about speed.

With only a few snowmobiles in each group, there is time to enjoy the journey, the scenery and the silence around you.

The route follows the frozen border river between Finland and Sweden, crossing open landscapes and winding through Arctic wilderness far from the busiest safari routes.

Some days the sky is clear. Some days snow is falling. The landscape is never quite the same twice.

That is part of the experience.

Small groups. Real Arctic Nature.

Your journey begins at the Reindeer Ranch on the shores of Lake Peerajärvi.

There are no transfers and no departure terminals. Just step outside and head straight into the Arctic landscape.

Travelling in small groups allows time to stop, look around and enjoy the journey at its own pace.

A hot drink and a small snack are enjoyed outdoors before continuing across the border river and surrounding wilderness.

Some come for the snowmobiling.

Many remember the landscapes long afterwards.
