The general terms and conditions below apply for reservations made by an individual, private person unless a special agreement has been made.

Separate rules apply for group reservations over 3 chalets at Kilpisjärven Tunturimajat or 3 Glass Igloos at Arctic Land Adventure.

We reserve the rights to apply special terms and conditions that differ from these in case of public holidays, special events, seasonality or additional services require so.



When reserving a room your name, address, arrival- and departure time and method of payment are required. Reservation is binding once it has been confirmed verbally or in writing and you have received a reservation confirmation number. We are entitled to apply different kinds of rules such as reservation fee or credit card guarantee in order to secure the reservation.
Terms of cancellation are stated on the confirmation received either directly from us or online reservation channel.

In case you fail to arrive without cancelling your reservation or you wish to departure earlier we may use cancellation charges as stated on the confirmation. Terms might differ from the general terms stated below.



100% deposit payment is charged to confirm reservation. After payment, reservation cannot be cancelled for free of charge and 30% of the deposit payment is held as cancellation charge if the reservation is cancelled more than 60 days before the arrival.

100% of the deposit payment is held as cancellation charge if the reservation is cancelled less than 60 days before the arrival or in case of no show or in any other reason you may not be able to use your reservation.

Free cancellation is available if the reservation is cancelled before 90 days before the arrival date.



The room is at your disposal from 4:00 PM on the day of arrival. On your departure day the room must be vacated by 11:00 AM.

We are entitled to apply exceptions on check-in and check-out times stated above.

For safety reasons, only checked-in guests are allowed on private premises and the maximum capacity per room may not be surpassed.



We accept international credit cards to guarantee your reservation.
To guarantee the reservation we will need the following information: your name, credit card number, credit card expiry date, credit card CVC/CVV code, address, phone number and email address. We may acquire your contact details verbally or in writing.



We accept the most common credit/debit cards. We do not accept foreign currency, vouchers, cheques unless agreed separately in advance.
When reserving a room we are entitled to approve and charge international credit cards.



We follow good manners and rules at our premises. In case of breaking these rules you may be immediately removed from the premises. In such cases you are still obliged to pay for the accommodation and additional services ordered. You are not eligible to claim a refund for payments already made.

For safety reasons, only checked-in guests are allowed on private premises such as chalets and Glass Igloos and the maximum capacity per room may not be surpassed.



As a guest you are responsible for damage caused on purpose or by accident by you, your guest or your pet in the chalet or other accommodation premises. This applies also to the furniture and other equipment, our other guests or their property.

The responsibility for caused damage is determined by general principles.



Only a person over the age of 18 is allowed to make a reservation. The adult making a reservation for a person under the age of 18 will be held responsible for the minor, whether he or she accommodates with the minor or not. An underage person travelling alone will need a letter of consent signed by a guardian.

The letter has to include the minor’s name, birthday and dates of arrival and departure. The name and contact information of a guardian are also required.



Pets are welcome in some of the cottages at Kilpisjärvi Fell Houses. We cannot take pets to the glass igloos. We charge 25 € / pet / beer for pets. Pets must always be notified in advance and the registered guest is personally responsible for the well-being of their pet and any damage and costs it may cause.
Pets are not allowed to disturb other guests. There are a limited number of pet cottages, so we recommend making a reservation well in advance of your trip.
